Adam Bartha

Adam Bartha is the Director of EPICENTER, a network of thirteen leading free market think tanks from across Europe. He leads the network's joint work across member institutes and oversees its European and global programmes, including the Initiative for African Trade and Prosperity (IATP) and the Whetstone Freedom Fund (WFF).

Adam gives regular talks on the rule of law, authoritarian populism, free market reforms in the EU, and the political affairs of Central and Eastern Europe.

Adam has given more than 100 talks in over a dozen countries across three continents, including at the European Parliament, the European Commission, and major policy forums from Warsaw to Washington DC. His commentary and analysis have appeared in media across 19 countries, including CapX, City A.M., Brussels Report, Reason Magazine, the Sydney Morning Herald, and Expresso.

He was previously Director of International Outreach at the Institute of Economic Affairs, the oldest free market think tank in Britain and a Koch Summer Fellow in the Publications Department of the Independent Institute in California. He holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics.
